So Invest Into It
As we celebrated Mother's Day all together in 1-unified service at the Youth Center, Ashton shared insights surrounding the faith dynamics during the adolescence phase.

"As a church family, we have to make it our priority to surround our young people during this crucial phase and lovingly encourage our students when they have questions and point them toward the only one who can handle our doubts. Jesus can handle our doubts, don't you think?" ~ Ashton Stewart

    Don’t Miss It
James 4:13-14 — 13 Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” 14 Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.
Each moment is a gift. The next is not promised to you. Life moves at such a rapid pace that if we’re not careful, we’ll miss it. Don’t blink. James said life is a mist that appears for a moment and then vanished. ~ Ashton Stewart

    What We Pray About
As God's children, the way we pray reveals the trust we have in Him to respond and answer. ~ Ashton Stewart

“Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! Matthew 7:9-11 (NIV)

    He is Not Here
Because Jesus resurrected...His death is not wasted. In fact, because of Jesus' resurrection NOTHING IS WASTED...not your past, not your mistakes, not your sorrow, not your pain, not your regrets; none of it will ever be wasted...since Jesus is alive, so is our HOPE! ~ Ashton Stewart

    Not Guilt, But Grace
When we do not receive what we deserve and when we receive a gift that we do not deserve, it ought to change who we are and it ought to change how we live. The Bible in Romans 2:4 says that “God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance.” ~Ashton Stewart

For Our Good and God’s Glory
None of the moments in our life are ever wasted. God's plan sometimes includes our suffering and pain. When we look at the life of Joseph in the book of Genesis, we see that whether he was the prince or in a pit, God was present. And the same is true for us in every moment we go through.

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”  Romans 8:28
