THINGS TO KNOW

    The Food Pantry needs you!  Starting in June we want to staff our Food Pantry
    during the hours of 10:00 AM - noon and noon to 2:00 PM on Tuesdays and
    Thursdays each week.  Our Food Pantry serves approximately 30 to 50 families
    per month.  We are asking for individuals to volunteer for 2 hour shifts as often as
    they can.  We will have sign-up sheets in the foyer.  If you have questions please
    contact Steve.

    Preschool Registrations for 2008-2009.  Registrations are open for the
    upcoming school year.  Contact any of the Preschool teachers (Miss Dee,
    Miss Leanne, or Miss Ammity), or the church office.  Please return forms

    Carefree Christian Companions Trip.  The group will be visiting the Creation
    Museum near Cincinnati, Ohio.  This unique museum supports the Biblical truth of
    creation and proudly displays scientific facts and archeological evidences as
    support.  The companions trip will be Tuesday, July 29 and cost $75.  Contact
    Ernie Nogle (492-9127) or Marilyn Porter (492-3689) no later than July 14 to make
    your reservation.

    5th and 6th Grade Trip to Chicago.  Tuesday, July 29.  We will leave at
    approximately 8:00 AM for a day of sightseeing.  We will visit Navy Pier for a ride
    on the Ferris Wheel and tour downtown on the Magnificent Mile.  We will then
    travel to the Shedd Aquarium.  The cost of the trip is $30 which includes
    admission to the aquarium, a ride on the Ferris Wheel and a snack.  Adult prices
    will be $35.  Everyone needs to bring a sack lunch.  Adult chaperons are welcome.

    1st and 2nd Grade Trip to Indianapolis Children's Museum.  Thursday, July
    31.  We will travel to the Children's Museum of Indianapolis for a day of exploring
    the Dinosphere and the rest of the museum.  We will leave approximately at 8:00
    AM and return by 6:00 PM.  The cost will be $4 for youth and $6.50 for adults.  
    Each person going will need to bring a sack lunch and $5 for an afternoon snack.  
    We will not be visiting the gift shop.  Adult chaperons are welcomed.  Please
    RSVP to Steve by July 25th.

    4th Annual Ride for Life Cancer Run.  Saturday, August 9 at West Liberty
    Church of Christ.  Join the motorcycle ride or join us for the hog roast and
    fellowship time.  Registration for the ride is from 8:30 AM - 10:00 AM.  The hog
    roast begins at 12:30 PM and the entertainment begins at 2:00 PM.
